My wife has dementia, aged 84, I myself I am 84 and have heart problems. After she became totally incontinent I was unable to look after her. We have carers who came twice a day to wash her and put her to bed. In the meantime, I saw to her every need. Eventually, it became necessary to have her admitted

to a care home, one of the best according to our local medical practice. Since being admitted I have more time and peace of mind knowing she is being well cared for.

Nursing home is clean and tidy. The staff are wonderful. Mum’s care is exemplary. We are always welcomed, more importantly, Mum is happy and I feel that I leave her in safe hands when we are not there.

My dad was resident at the home for 2 years until he, sadly, passed away this week. Both myself and my mother cannot fault the levels of care and dignity shown by all staff and management at the home. Especially towards the ‘end of life’ when he was made so comfortable and shown the highest levels of

with care, respect and dignity. Food is varied and homemade and always a good choice of meals. Staff interact with residents and have a lovely caring relationship and the overall atmosphere is a very happy environment.
